Gallery Night Providence runs on the energy of volunteers and tour guides who share a love of art and a passion for our city. Whether you can give a few evenings a season or step up to lead a tour, there’s a place for you.
Our greeters are the friendly first faces of Gallery Night — welcoming and registering guests, setting up signage, pointing visitors toward self-guided tours, and keeping the evening running smoothly. It’s a great fit for students earning service hours, art lovers, retirees with skills to share, and young professionals looking to connect.
Time commitment: 4–6 Gallery Nights a season, roughly 4:00–8:30 PM, with flexible shifts.
What you’ll get: hands-on training, an inside look at the arts scene, networking with our team and partners, and documented service hours.
We’re recruiting English- and Spanish-speaking tour guides for the season. Guides lead small groups through galleries and studios, meeting artists, gallery owners, and fellow art lovers along the way — and we cover training plus a stipend.
