February 26- March 23 with a Gallery Night Reception and performances March 15 5-9pm

Six Seasons of Out Loud Theatre Productions - Kira Hawkridge Artistic Director - through the lens of Justine M. Johnson (Piquant Photo). A Dynamic Collaboration

This exhibit presents the dynamic photographic imagery of Justine M. Johnson (Piquant Photo) collaboratively interpreting six seasons of OUT LOUD Theatre performances.  OUT LOUD Theatre creates vibrant, interactive and immersive Movement Theatre Productions - interpreting classic and contemporary plays through the lens of current issues facing our world. Artistic Director Kira Hawkridge (URI ’12) and the company explore, deconstruct, and mine the depths of the dramatic literature to create vivid and unforgettable experiences in contemporary theatre.

OUT LOUD Theatre Director Kira Hawkridge and Photographer Justine M. Johnson (Piquant Photo) have fostered a creative and expansive partnership that has evolved over the last 5 years shaping a series of unique and expressive online photographic exhibits with the OUT LOUD ensemble in which Piquant Photo is an integral part of OUT LOUD’s artistic process and identity. By exploring the boundaries between visual art and theatre, OUT LOUD Theatre/Piquant Photo have developed a striking and diverse portfolio of imagery.

Dedicated to creating platforms of expression for all female artists, ‘LIVING OUT LOUD’ features selections from OUT LOUD’s past five Seasons and the upcoming production Season, and marks the first official exhibition of OUT LOUD Theatre & Piquant Photo as longtime collaborators. URI has a long partnership is Ms. Hawkridge and her company.  We are proud to present this collaborative exhibition for Women’s History Month.
